A member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Ekeremor/Sagbama Federal Constituency from Bayelsa State Rt. Hon. Fred Agbedi has declared support for the motion for a joint member delegation between the House of Representatives and the Senate to investigate the hike of PMS in the country.
The motion to grant access to members of IPMAN, Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, to buy products from Dangote Refinery was brought to the floor of the National Assembly by Hon. Oforji Oboku, member representing Yenagoa, Kolokuma/Opokuma Federal Constituency.
The motion was amended by Hon. Bashiru Usman Gorau, member representing Goronyo/Gada Federal Constituency, Sokoto, to be referred to the AD-HOC Committee already constituted to be inaugurated.
The motion was seconded by Rt. Hon. Fred Agbedi, member representing Sagbama / Ekeremor Federal Constituency, Chairman of the House Committee on FCT Area Council and Ancillary Matters, and the Caucus Leader of the South-South in the National Assembly.
The Thursday 26th Sept. 2024 plenary session ended with exchanging pleasantries with colleagues.
